The Fox 36 loves climbing, traversing and descending, and is a staple in the aggressive trail, all-mountain and enduro category. Riders who spend long days in the saddle but love pointing their bikes down fast and chunky trails are prime candidates for the historical 36mm fork from Fox. While the Fox 38 is an enticing option due to it's popularity with enduro racers, the Fox 36 is realistically better suited to the bikes of most riders on the trails using a 140mm to 160mm fork.
For model year 2025, the Fox 36 chassis remains unchanged, but receives new bushings in the lower legs and 2 entirely new damper options. The GRIP X2 featured in this fork has evolved from the GRIP2 damper, but expands on the fine-tunability of the adjustments while gaining a bump in overall performance.
The E-Optimized version of the Fox 36 features a slightly more robust chassis which is recommended for system weights between 140 kilograms to 169 kilograms (308 to 372 pounds). The system weight refers to the weight of the rider plus their bike.
SPECIFICATIONS:
** Not all fork travels are offered directly from Fox. To get you the exact fork for your bike we may need to change the air shaft assembly to achieve this. As an authorized Fox Service Center we will replace the air shaft with a new one in the length you need and we'll put fresh lubricant on the air spring seals and the proper amount of bath oil into each leg. This does not affect the warranty of your fork. Read more here.**
