With a hand painted "Intergalactic Robins Egg" color scheme, this Evil Offering belongs to our mechanical wiz, Alex. The Build We have a lot of awesome and really unique mountain bike builds that come through the shop and this Evil Offering, belonging to our mechanic Alex, certainly makes the short list for "unique and awesome". The build alludes to both Alex's mechanical skills and their riding prowess. That is to say, this bike is very dialed. Not just in appearance, with its sick, hand painted "Intergalactic Robins Egg" paint job, but in the impressive parts spec and setup of the bike too. You can see that it's well built bike just by looking at the photos, but once you lay your hands on it, you realize just how much attention Alex put into it. The suspension is buttery smooth, brakes are bled to a T, and, aside from the regular shifting and braking sounds, it's dead silent (the hub even coasts silently, thanks to Onyx's unique sprag clutch design). With CushCore inserts front and rear, premium RockShox suspension and dropper post, and some eye-catching parts from Cascade Components (the V2 Offering Link and recently released North Fork Brake Calipers), it’s evident that the intention of this build is to rally. Oh, and by the way, it's for sale! If you're interested, send Alex an email at alex.royal@thelostco.com for more details! After moving to the PNW in the summer of 2021, I'm really loving the steep, loamy, and rooty terrain that Bellingham has to offer. Jumps are growing on me, but still not really my thing. Historically, my bike of choice is a mid-travel 29'er, but the steeper, faster terrain in this area has me curious about a longer-travel mullet bike.
