Staff Bike Checks | Russ's Geometron

Henry Hibbeln |

Long, low, and slack. On steroids. This is Russ's new Geometron.

The Build

In an unfortunate turn of events, Russ's previous bike, a 29in Devinci Spartan was stolen- leaving an opening in the stable for a new bike. The resulting bike is very long, very low, very slack, and very German.

This is Russ's version of a trail bike. With its burly alloy frame cladded with a dual crown fork, coil shock, and downhill casing tires- it's hard to differentiate this bike from a DH race bike. Upon further inspection, however, you'll find that this bike is complete with a dropper post, 12 speed XT/XTR Drivetrain, and lightweight wheelset, making it somewhat of an all-rounder.

Russ wrapped wheels from CRD (the wheel company he owns and operates) in a Maxxis Assegai/Dissector combo.

It's not a complete build without a set of high quality, reliable brakes. Code RSC's are Russ's favorite!
