I got this bike in the late fall to replace my old Trek downcountry rig. Since then, I’ve changed a few things as I’ve figured out what I like or when a new product has come out. I’ve mostly left the bike stock though, as Transition does a fabulous job kitting their complete bikes out.
Drivetrain duties are handled by a Sram GX groupset with an upgraded X01 shifter. Reliable, durable and inexpensive to replace. I swapped over to OneUp carbon bars for their more compliant ride feel and a longer dropper when I discovered it’d fit. Braking is provided by Sram Code RSC's with 200mm Centerline rotors.
The biggest changes I’ve made are with the suspension as I’ve swapped the stock Fox setup to Rockshox. My newest upgrade is the 2023 Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate. Compared to my old Fox 36, I find the new Lyrik to be more supple, sensitive, supportive and just stupid easy to set up. In regards to the shock, I chose to install the MegNeg on the Super Deluxe because I was looking for something with more mid stroke support.
A couple finishing touches are some Jank Components Housing Homies made by my friend Eric Olsen and some VHS tape to replace the chain stay protection.
Total weight with pedals is 35.45lbs.

About Me: I'm currently our only part-timer at The Lost Co. Coming from America's Dairyland, Wisconsin, I help Adam answer phones and respond to emails. I loves the smell of coffee, watching sunsets, and long rides in the woods. When I'm not here at the shop, I'm either working at Kulshan Brewing slinging beers or exploring new places around the PNW.
