Looking to replace your frame bearings but can't figure out which darn'd bearings your frame needs? We've been there, so we slowly compiled this database full of bearing specs for popular bikes that our customers have been searching for.
Unless otherwise noted, we highly recommend using Enduro Max Bearings in all of your frame bearings, and Enduro Cartridge Bearings as your wheels bearings. Enduro's Max Bearings are designed to withstand the loads commonly found in frame bearings, and happily rotate just a few degrees throughout their lifespan. Enduro's Cartridge Bearings are built to spin with minimal resistance, perfectly suited to wheels.
For bearing removal, we recommend the Enduro Universal Bearing Puller Set. It's perfect for removing 99% of bearings, and is a great choice for a home mechanic or shop.
For bearing installation, we recommend the Wheels Manufacturing Bearing Press, as it accomodates every bearing we carry!
Can't find your bike? Send us an email and we'll do our best to find what you're looking for and add it to the database!

For these frames, Ibis strongly suggests replacing the entire upper link when its bearings need replacing. Aside from these bearings, these frames only use bushings. Most bushings are standard Igus bushings but the Clevis bushings for all Ripmo V2 and Riply V4 frames are proprietary Ibis bushings.

The Enduro MAX bearings are designed specifically to be used as frame bearings. Frame bearings take more side load and only rotate a few degrees back and forth throughout their life, and the MAX bearings are much better suited for this use. Non MAX Enduro bearings are perfect in settings where the bearing will spin freely for its entire life, and provide minimal friction. Wheels and bottom brackets are the perfect scenario for these types of bearings.
No. Frames are very specifically designed to only work with exactly the correct bearing, and using a different size bearing will most likely completely break your frame.
We highly recommend getting the correct tool for the job. We use the Enduro Universal Bearing Puller Set for bearing removal and the Wheels Manufacturing Bearing Press - Pro Kit for installation. You might be able to get away with hammering your new bearings in with a 2x4, but you run the risk of ruining your fresh bearings as well as your frame. If you don't want to invest in the tools, we highly recommend taking your bike to your local mechanic and having it done right.
Frame manufacturers use all kinds of crazy bearings, so many that's it too many for us to stock! We carry the most common bearing sizes that are used in most frames, but we don't have them all. A quick google search will get you exactly what you need!
