TOP 3: MTB Setup for Riding in the Mud

Mike Randol |

Watch this video to learn about our top 3 upgrades for muddy riding!

Fall is in FULL effect in the Pacific Northwest! But that doesn't mean the riding has to slow down... In fact, the Fall is our favorite time to ride at The Lost Co. With a pinch of mental preparation, and dash of upgrades to your bike it will certainly be your favorite time to ride as well. Proper tires meant for riding in wet, fenders to keep the mud off your face and correct brake pads are three mountain bike components that will absolutely help you maximize your fun in the (lack of) sun.

About Me: I grew up hucking my bike off curbs in the suburbs of Chicago. I moved out to the PNW in 2014 and opened The Lost Co in 2016. I freaking love riding long rough descents and really pushing my body to the limit. I'll straight up ride any type of bike but really prefer long travel 27.5" bikes. However, I've been choosing mid-travel 29'rs for most of my trail rides these days!
